| In addition to academics and sports, Wilkinsburg High School offers numerous activities and clubs to inspire our students to continue learning after the school day is done. |

Wilkinsburg Student Forum |

The Student Forum works to create a sense of belonging for out students without
negative peer pressure. Forum members learn leadership, teamwork, responsibility, freedom of expression, and confidence in themselves and as a group. Forum goals include:
- Bringing intellectual resources to the school such as guest speakers and
extra curricular activities
- Mentoring to establish relationships with influential citizens
- Community Service such as food drives, fundraisers, neighorhood clean up, and dinners for those in need
- Social Activities to encourage student interaction, such as dinners, dances, movies, and museum visits
The Student Forum has also taken trips to college fairs, held a

21st Century After School Program |

With more than $300,000 in federal funds, Wilkinsburg's 21st Century After School Program offerings include the Top Notch recording studio, where students make their own CDs, dance, karate and other exciting programs.

Our High School Band students are learning the discipline and excitement of being a musician. With support from the Pittsburgh Symphony and donors throughout the region, dozens of instruments have been donated to our band program. Thank you, donors!
