Wilkinsburg School District does not facilitate reunions for graduating classes, but we're happy to post information about a reunion or other alumni event that you have planned. Reunions are listed in order of graduation year. Contact information is posted if we have it. |

Transcript Requests |
Wilkinsburg School District will provide an official transcript of a student's academic record provided the student has submitted a written request.
Requests can be sent via the following methods:
1) Mailed to the following address: Wilkinsburg Jr/Sr
High School, 747 Wallace Avenue, Wilkinsburg, PA 15221.
2) Faxed to Ms. Harris at 412-871-2270.
3) Emailed to Kim Harris
Requests must contain the following information:
*Name of the person at time of graduation--please specify a maiden name, if applicable
*Year of graduation
*Complete address you would like transcript to be sent
*Your signature
There is no charge for a transcript. Please allow 7-10 days before you inquire about your request. All questions should be directed to Kim Harris at 412-871-2267. |

William Cortez Burnett, Class of 1986, awarded graduate scholarship |
William "Corey" Burnett (WHS'86) has been awarded the John S.
Shropshire Graduate Scholarship by the Pennsylvania
Black Conference on Higher Education. Mr. Burnett is
a doctoral student in education at Indiana
University of Pennsylvania.
After graduating from Wilkinsburg High School, Mr.
Burnett graduated from Slippery Rock University with
a degree in secondary education, specializing in
social studies. He received his master's degree from
IUP, graduating with distinction.
A teacher of international affairs, African American
history, humanities, economics and ancient world
history at Gateway High School, Mr. Burnett is
completing his first year of doctoral studies this
year.
The father of three children, Mr. Burnett is an avid
outdoorsman, artist and musician. |

In Memoriam |
The Wilkinsburg School District notes with sorrow the passing of Richard L. Camp, who was Music Supervisor in the district for 25 years. He was also an active member of the Wilkinsburg community. Mr. Camp died on September 20, 2007 at Hilton Head, South Carolina. He was 90 years old.

WHS Grad on the PAC Academic Honor Roll
Scott Thompson(WHS '05) has been named to the President's Athletic Conference Academic Honor Roll.
Scott is a freshman at Theil College who plays varsity football.
