| Wilkinsburg Academy Honor Roll students, like 7th grader Howard Morrison pictured above with Teacher's Assistant Ms. Yvette Robinson, were honored to have been invited to the Homestead Waterfront Cinema for a special meet-and-greet with members of the Pittsburgh Steelers. The event, sponsored by the Boys and Girls Club of Wilkinsburg, was a huge success, where our young people interacted with more than 25 members of the Steelers' team roster, including Oliver Ross and Keydrick Vincent, pictured above. Meeting professional athletes is always a thrill but given the incredible 15-1 record of the Steelers it was even more spectacular. The Wilkinsburg Academy congratulates its honor students for their acheivements. We've got our fingers crossed for continued winning seasons for all of you AND for the Steelers! |
