Johnston Elementary "Making Progress"

11/14/04

Congratulations, Johnston Elementary School students! The Pennsylvania Department of Education has graded Johnston as "making progress" an improvement from last year. Better, 42% of Johnston students who took the 2003-2004 PSSA exam, the state's standardized test, scored proficient or better in math, and 28% scored proficient or better in reading. While we have a lot more work to do, these scores show improvement from last year and reflect the hard work of our students and teachers, and motivate us to do better next year.
