| Wilkinsburg Middle School 7th grader Christiane Wilson, age 14, was acknowledged at the March School Board Legislative Session for academic achievement. Ms. Wilson's family, including her father Christopher, her mother Tanya, her sister Tynisha (age 10) and her grandmother Hilda Lewis, all came out for the awards ceremony.
According to Mr. Allen, the Wilkinsburg Middle School teacher who presented Christiane with her certificate of achievement, "Christiane is a very focused young lady. She is a hard worker who respects her teachers and fellow students. She puts in the extra effort and is a very pleasant young lady to work with. We're all very proud of her." |
