| Wilkinsburg High School students placed 2nd in the Innovate Design Competition held by the University of Pittsburgh for their product, "On The Go Flat Iron."
The university created this program to encourage students to take an active role in science and technology.
The students honored with this award include: Shayla Jones, Lillie Diggs, Bryan Byrd, and LaâÂÂShay Smith (all in the 11th grade).
The students created the concept for a portable device that straightens and curls hair. |
