Miss Cookie visited Kelly Elementary School’s kindergarten classrooms to read students a story about Groundhog’s Day. She also brought her famous groundhog-shaped cookies. The students loved Miss Cookie’s company, story time and, of course, the treats!

Dr. Miller read first grade students a story about shapes. The students then discussed the different attributes of the shapes and brainstormed ways to put them together to make new ones. They were also introduced to vocabulary including equilateral, right angles, and parallel lines.
The 5th grade has been studying Native Americans and early tribal regions in the United States. The students created their own Native American names based on their personality, nature, and an animal.
