Welcome back to the 2009-2010 school year!
I hope you all had an enjoyable summer and are looking forward with enthusiasm to the new school year. We are entering this year with high expectations for all of our students.
The faculty and staff at Wilkinsburg Jr./Sr. High School believe that all students can learn.
We are committed to provide:
1. A safe nurturing environment that encourages students to accept and find the best in themselves and others.
2. A rigorous education that will enable students to reach their full academic potential.
3. The necessary tools needed for students to find the inner confidence they need to take risks
and set goals in their lives.
4. Guidance so that students will be prepared to leave the Wilkinsburg High School to become the teachers, leaders, and dreamers of tomorrow.
In order for learning to begin there must be an environment of which learning is first the priority. Please take time to review the student handbook and discipline code. It is very important that you understand the policy and procedures so that your learning experience will continue without interruption.
You as a student can and will make a difference. We will succeed because we have chosen to become successful.
