Ms. Beadle and her Kelly Elementary School 5th-6th graders put a little spin on Andy Warhol’s artwork of his favorite soup. He once claimed that he ate Campbell’s Soup every day for three years. An artist of the Pop Art Movement, Warhol took every day items (ie: Brillo pads, soup cans, dollar bills, etc.) and transformed them into art.
The students chose the theme of soup cans, designed their own labels and created two unique murals with their cans being the focal point of both.
