At the Wilkinsburg School District, academic success for all students is our primary goal. Thanks to academic improvements initiated and lead by teams of dedicated teachers, administrators and staff, and supported by our School Board, the district has "turned a corner" toward excellence.
We have seen increases in standardized test scores and real progress in math and literacy, and our teachers have been acknowledged for their qualifications by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. While there is still much work to be done, these improvements - and many more to come - are a reflection of the growing dedication of our parents and grandparents, untold hours of work by our teachers, administrators and School Board, and an increasing commitment from our students.
Now there is no limit to what we can accomplish together.
