Pittsburgh Public Schools (PPS) is excited to announce that registration is now open for Parent University 2025! This year's theme, "Cultivating Excellence through PPS: Purpose, Passion, and Success," focuses on preparing families to be active partners in their child's educational journey.
The event will take place on Saturday, September 6, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Duquesne University. Parent University is a district-wide event designed to empower parents, caregivers, and families with practical tools and resources to help students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Attendees can connect directly with educators and school leaders, explore a Resource Center featuring over 30 organizations offering information, services, and giveaways, and let children enjoy the Kids' Corner with fun activities and a free book for every child. Families will also learn strategies to support their child's learning and overall well-being.
