Turner Intermediate is excited to launch Food For Friends, a Student Envoy Project focused on supporting members of our community during the holiday season.
We will be collecting non-perishable food items through Friday, December 12, 2025.
Suggested donation items include:
- Canned: soups, tuna, vegetables, fruits
- Jarred: peanut butter, jelly, spaghetti sauce
- Paper Products: paper towels, tissues, toilet paper
- Packaged: mac and cheese, ramen noodles, cereal, pasta, pancake mix
After thoughtful research, our Student Envoys selected Family Links, Inc. as this year’s donation recipient. Family Links supports individuals of all ages and backgrounds—and best of all, it’s a local organization making a real difference close to home.
We’re encouraging every student to bring at least one (or more!) item to place in Tuffy the Tiger’s Donation Bins located in the Turner lobby.
Let’s come together, fill those bins, and make this holiday season brighter for families in our community!
