Special Education Paraprofessional
The position of Special Education Paraprofessional is a 10-month position in the district and an integral part of the building’s administration (educational support) team whose primary responsibility is to work with teachers to provide additional educational support to either small groups or individual students to reinforce learning of material or skills initially introduced by the teacher.
Teaching Assistant Paraprofessional
The position of Teaching Assistant is a 10-month position in the district and an integral part of the building’s administrative team whose primary responsibility is to work with teachers to provide additional educational support to either small groups or individual students to reinforce learning of material or skills initially introduced by the teacher.
The building substitute elementary teacher serves in a leadership role to establish an elementary program and a class environment that promotes social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth by providing rich and engaging experiences. Establishes effective rapport with students, motivates students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for learning, in accordance with each student's ability. Creates and maintains good relationships with parents and other staff members.
