Retirement Account 

Wilkinsburg School District offers our eligible employees the opportunity to save for retirement by participating in a 403(b) Tax-Sheltered Account (TSA) Plan.  All employees, except for private contractors, appointed/elected trustees and/or school board members and student workers, are eligible to participate in the 403(b) Plan immediately upon employment.  You can participate in this plan by making pre-tax contributions.  The 403(b) Plan is a valuable retirement savings option.  You can download the application and additional information below.


Highmark Community Blue Flex Insurance

As a full time, employee, you have the choice between EPO and PPO.  There is a cost difference associated with the two insurance options, but you know what will work best for you.


Also, please not Deductible costs between the PPO and EPO when choosing a doctor.  You can find out if your doctor participates with the Enhanced Value of either insurance by going to and search for your doctor.  If they are Enhanced, they will show up.  Note that the PPO insurance does allow you limited access to Out-of-Network care, the EPO does not.


United Concordia Dental

The district offers full-time employees United Concordia dental plan. The cost of the dental plan is no charge to full time employees.



As a full-time employee, you have the choice between two different vision plans with a small cost difference.  We offer Davis Vision and Vision Benefits of America.



We participate with many pharmacy chains.  Please review the list to make sure you are using the correct one.
