Since 1893, the Greater Wilkinsburg Chamber of Commerce has been dedicated to strengthening the local business community by promoting the growth, prosperity, and sustainability of businesses in Wilkinsburg and the surrounding area. Through community partnerships, business resources, advocacy, and economic development initiatives, the Chamber works to support existing businesses, encourage new investment, and foster a thriving local economy. 

Founded in 2015, Free Store Wilkinsburg (FSW) is an independently operated 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to redistributing new and gently used goods at no cost to community members experiencing financial hardship or emergency. Supported by donations from corporate partners, community members, and volunteers, FSW helps meet critical needs while contributing to the ongoing revitalization of Wilkinsburg and surrounding communities. 

The Hosanna House is a multi-purpose community center that serves more than 27,000 people each year by providing high-quality health, education, youth recreation, tutoring and mentoring, technology education for youth and adults, men's services, workforce development, health and dental care, and permanent supportive housing. 

Milestone is a private, nonprofit community behavioral health and intellectual disability services agency serving residents throughout western Pennsylvania. The organization provides confidential counseling, rehabilitation and training, information and referral services, consultation, education and prevention programs, developmental services, and other supports designed to help individuals and families thrive. 

Pittsburgh Housing Development Association, Inc. (PHDA) empowers low- and moderate-income families on their path to homeownership by providing homebuyer education, first-time homebuyer assistance, and connections to valuable community resources. Through partnerships with individuals, businesses, faith-based organizations, and government agencies, PHDA helps families achieve sustainable homeownership while strengthening neighborhoods and communities. 

UpstreamPgh works to improve the health of the Nine Mile Run Watershed, a 6.5 square mile urban watershed located in Pittsburgh's East End. Building on one of the largest urban stream restoration projects in the United States, completed by the  U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, UpstreamPgh engages the community through innovative urban ecology projects that promote environmental stewardship and help protect and restore the watershed.
