Substitute Opportunities

Employment Requirements
To be eligible for employment with the Wilkinsburg School District, applicants must complete the required background clearances, training, and forms as regulated by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Clearance costs are the responsibility of the applicant.
- FBI Federal Criminal History Record Fingerprinting Clearance (Act 114)
- Applicants must complete fingerprinting through IdentoGO using the Pennsylvania Department of Education School District Service Code: 1KG6XN
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151)
- Applicants must complete the Child Abuse Clearance application. Approximately seven years of previous address and personal information are required to complete the application.
- Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check Clearance (Act 34)
- Applicants must complete a Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History Clearance.
- Arrest or Conviction Record Form (Form PDE 6004) (Act 24)
- Applicants must review and complete the Arrest/Conviction Report and Certification Form as part of the employment process.
- Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Information (Act 168 of 2014)
- Applicants must complete the required disclosure forms, which are completed by previous employers as part of the hiring process.
- Mandated Reporter Training (Act 126)
- Applicants must complete the required training and submit a certificate of completion.
