Transportation

The Wilkinsburg School District is committed to providing safe, reliable transportation for eligible students to and from school each day. The Transportation Department coordinates transportation services for students who reside within Wilkinsburg Borough and attend Kelly Primary, Turner Intermediate, or Pittsburgh Westinghouse Academy.

In addition to school bus transportation, the district provides Pittsburgh Regional Transit (PRT) ConnectCards for eligible Wilkinsburg residents attending private, parochial, charter schools, or Pittsburgh Public Schools magnet programs located within a 10-mile radius of the borough.

Reminder for Drivers

Pennsylvania law requires all drivers to stop when a school bus has its red lights flashing and stop arm extended. Passing a stopped school bus endangers children and is against the law.
