Student Conduct and Bus Safety
The Wilkinsburg School District is committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for every student. School buses are an extension of the classroom, and students are expected to follow the same behavior expectations while riding the bus. By working together, students, families, bus drivers, and school staff help ensure a safe ride for everyone. School bus transportation is a privilege, and students who do not follow established safety rules and the Student Code of Conduct may lose their transportation privileges.
Reminder for Drivers
Pennsylvania law requires all drivers to stop when a school bus has its red lights flashing and stop arm extended. Passing a stopped school bus endangers children and is against the law.
