Free Computers & Internet for Qualifying Families and a Parent Technology Survey

Free Computers

The Education Partnership and Computer Reach are collaborating to give families in need a free desktop computer so that students may have the access they need to study at home during the COVID-19 pandemic.

An adult family member of your student/s must fill out the Google Form in order to receive the computer. (IDs will be required at desktop takeout location at Computer Reach located at 1 DRV Drive, Wilkinsburg, PA 15221).

Supplies are limited.  The link currently advises checking back on Thursday, March 26.

Internet Providers Offering Free Service/Extra Data
Several major internet providers are offering free internet for qualifying households. This includes:

Internet Essentials from Comcast. Free home internet for two months for new customers.

Verizon Wireless. Free 15 GB of data for existing customers, which can be used for Mobile Hotspot internet connection.

Spectrum. If students don’t have access to internet they can call 1-844-488-8398 during the school shutdown for free internet from Spectrum.

District Technology Survey for Kelly & Turner Families

To assist the Willkinsburg School District with planning for online instruction, Kelly & Turner families are asked to  please complete the district’s short technology survey by Wednesday, April 1:
