It is the mission of the Wilkinsburg School District to promote academic excellence and to enhance physical, intellectual, socio-emotional and cultural growth in all students.

The Wilkinsburg School District is a small, urban public school district serving the Pittsburgh suburb of Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania. The District encompasses approximately 3 square miles. Wilkinsburg School District operates two schools: Kelly Primary School (Pre-K-2), Turner Intermediate School (grades 3-6). The school district is governed by its Board of Directors, as well as by the Pennsylvania State Board of Education, the Pennsylvania Department of Education and the Pennsylvania General Assembly.
