Little Warriors' After School Program

The Wilkinsburg School District and Neighborhood Learning Alliance (NLA) are offering a FREE K-5 after-school program for the 2026-2027 school year. The Little Warriors' Program provides students with a safe, supportive environment where they can learn, play, build new skills and connect with their peers.

Program Locations & Dates:

• Turner Intermediate (Grades 3–5): September 8, 2026 - June 3, 2027
• Kelly Primary (Grades K–2): September 22, 2026 - June 3, 2027

The program takes place at each school, Monday through Thursday, from dismissal until 6:15 p.m.

The Little Warriors' Program is designed to help students build skills, develop a sense of community, and explore experiences that support their academic, social, and physical well-being. Students will have opportunities to receive homework help and tutoring, participate in creative arts and crafts, enjoy sports and games, explore STEM and hands-on learning activities, participate in project-based learning and enrichment, and take part in field trips and other special experiences. A snack and dinner will be provided each day.

Space is limited, so families are encouraged to register today! Families must complete the two-step registration process to be considered for the program. After successfully completing both parts of the registration, parents/guardians will be contacted by program staff regarding their child's acceptance and start date.
