Arrival & Dismissal Procedures
Our arrival and dismissal procedures help ensure that students have a safe and smooth transition to and from school each day. We appreciate families' cooperation in following the procedures outlined below.
Students who ride the bus will receive their assigned bus information prior to the first day of school. For additional information about our transportation provider, bus safety expectations and guidelines, and frequently asked questions, please visit our Transportation page.
Arrival
- School doors open promptly at 8:20 a.m.
- Breakfast service ends at 8:40 a.m.
- Students should be ready for instruction at 8:45 a.m. Students who arrive after 8:45 a.m. will be marked tardy.
Dismissal
- Dismissal begins promptly at 3:20 p.m.
- Bus Riders must be picked up at their assigned bus stop by an adult. If an adult is not present at the bus stop, the student will be returned to the school building for parent/guardian pickup.
- Walkers and car riders must be picked up by an adult.
To help ensure a safe, efficient, and secure dismissal process, the school uses a dismissal number system for all walkers and car riders. Each family will be assigned a unique dismissal number and receive a numbered dismissal card. During dismissal, the adult picking up the student must display the dismissal card. Staff will call students for dismissal based on the number displayed.
