Principal Rachel Gardocky
Rachel Gardocky proudly serves as Principal of Kelly Primary School and is a dedicated member of the Wilkinsburg School District Administrative Team. She began her leadership role at Kelly in July 2022.
Ms. Gardocky earned her bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Slippery Rock University. She began her teaching career in Prince William County, Virginia, before returning to the Pittsburgh area to continue her work in education. Upon joining the Wilkinsburg School District, she taught fourth grade and later transitioned into the role of Technology Coordinator, supporting the district’s Virtual Program and helping integrate instructional technology into classrooms.
During her time as Technology Coordinator, Ms. Gardocky completed the Principal Certification Program at California University of Pennsylvania (now PennWest California). Shortly after, she stepped into the role of Principal at Kelly Primary.
As a school leader, Ms. Gardocky is dedicated to fostering a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for all students. She believes in the importance of building strong relationships with families, staff, and the community to support the academic and social success of every child. Her mission is to create meaningful learning opportunities that inspire a lifelong love of learning.
In her free time, she loves to cook and spend time with her family.

Assistant Principal Jeanette Mosso
Jeanette Mosso began her role as Assistant Principal during the 2025–2026 school year, where she supported students, teachers, staff, and principals at both Kelly Primary and Turner Intermediate Schools. Beginning with the 2026–2027 school year, Ms. Mosso will serve exclusively at Kelly Primary School.
Ms. Mosso has been a valued member of the Wilkinsburg School District for the past four years, serving as Director of Special Education and Director of Student Services. In these roles, she worked closely with students, families, and staff to support special education services and Title I programs. Prior to joining the district, she served as Education Director at two licensed private schools that provided autistic support and emotional support programs. She also worked as the Coordinator of Curriculum and Special Programs for a K–12 public school in Indiana County and began her career teaching middle and high school English and Social Studies.
Now entering her second year as Assistant Principal, Ms. Mosso looks forward to building even stronger relationships with Kelly Primary students, families, and staff while fostering a positive, supportive learning environment where every child can succeed.
