Daily Learning Schedule
Each school day is thoughtfully structured to provide students with meaningful instruction, individualized support, enrichment opportunities, and time for meals and recess.
Students in grades 3-6 begin their day with breakfast from 8:20 a.m. to 8:40 a.m. Instruction begins at 8:45 a.m. and continues through 3:20 p.m.
Throughout the school day, students receive:
- English Language Arts (ELA) instruction
- Grade 3: 120 minutes
- Grades 4-6: 90 minutes
- 75 minutes of math instruction
- 30 minutes of science and/or social studies
- 40 minutes of encore classes, including STEAM, art, physical education, Spanish, music, and library
- 30 minutes of small-group individualized instruction
- 30-minute lunch
- 45 minutes of recess (one 30-minute session and one 15-minute session)
This balanced schedule supports academic growth while providing students with opportunities to explore, create, collaborate, and develop important skills beyond the classroom.
