School Board

The mission of the Wilkinsburg School Board is to promote academic excellence and enhance the physical, intellectual, socio-emotional, and cultural growth of all students. The district is governed by nine individually elected Board members who serve four-year terms without compensation. In addition, the district operates under the guidance of the Pennsylvania State Board of Education, the Pennsylvania Department of Education, and the Pennsylvania General Assembly.
