Board Meetings

The Wilkinsburg School District Board of School Directors welcomes community participation and encourages residents to stay informed about district business. The public is welcome to attend Planning and Legislative Sessions, which are held in person in the first-floor Board Room of the Administration Building located at 718 Wallace Avenue, Wilkinsburg, PA 15221, unless otherwise noted. Planning and Legislative Sessions are also livestreamed on the district's YouTube Channel.

The Board recognizes the value of public participating on educational issues and the importance of involving community members in Board meetings. The Board also recognizes its responsibility for proper governance of the district and the need to conduct business in an orderly and efficient manner. 

Individuals eligible to address the Board include:

• District residents and taxpayers
• Representatives of community groups or organizations within the school district
• Representatives of firms eligible to bid on materials or services requested by the Board
• District employees
• District students 

Individuals who wish to address the Board regarding an agenda item should notify the Board Secretary prior to the meeting. Speakers will be recognized in the order requests are received.

All public comments are limited to three (3) minutes per speaker.
