After-school and Summer Opportunities

Learning doesn’t stop when the bells ring to end the school day at Kelly Primary or Turner Intermediate. Wilkinsburg School District offers after-school programming that is a valuable extension of the school day. We realize school hours don’t always line up with parents’ or guardians’ working hours; that’s why we offer after-school resources that reassure families that their children are cared for in a safe environment.

When the school year ends, our district continues to offer opportunities for children to learn and play together. Our programming helps students fight learning loss by reinforcing the fundamentals and giving students opportunities for additional enrichment through field trips and visits to our schools by museums, community groups, and other agencies.
