Wilkinsburg School District strives to provide an inclusive learning environment where students are seen, supported, and valued. The Tiger community is ‘small but mighty’ - made up of families who have been involved with the district for generations as students, teachers, administrators, or board members. In the Wilkinsburg School District, wee look at our schools as communities. We want our children to feel like the schools belong to them, because they do, and we are here in service of the entire community. 

Our teachers, counselors, and administrators take great pride in providing social-emotional learning alongside the curriculum taught in our classrooms. Whether it’s our ‘morning meeting’ that starts every school day, or monthly lessons led by our school counselors, we ensure our students have access to group and individualized supports
